Most user research is qualitative – with good reason. We need to understand why people do what they do, to create products that work for them. But that shouldn’t mean excluding hard numbers or quantitative data.

Heather is the President & Founder of Pixels for Humans, and also serves as a UX strategist & researcher for the Pixels team. She handles the full breadth of user research, as well as providing key insights and direction on all client projects. Heather has a keen eye for user experience patterns and can easily identify root issues behind user challenges. She works with product and client teams to ideate successful solutions that resonate with potential and current users.

Heather is the winner of the 2018 Tech 10 Women in Tech award and graduate of Northeastern University with two degrees in Mathematics and Music. She is a highly rated international speaker, including such notable locations and events as Harvard Extension School, O’Reilly, Northeastern University, UXPA International, and more. Heather is the author of 2018 startup UX guide, Before You Code.
